STUDIO applications now open

We are now seeking tenants for new artist studios and a creative workspace. Six self-contained studios and a shared workspace with six desks have been created in the School Room building at Art Centre Penryn and are available from 1st May 2025.

These light, high-ceilinged and well-insulated spaces sit within a beautiful Grade II Listed building. Designed by award-winning Architectural practice Dow Jones Architects, they feature contemporary details alongside original architectural features.

The first-floor studios range in size from 10 SQM (108 sqft) to 25 SQM (278 sqft) and in price from £230 pcm to £450 pcm, plus a monthly service charge of £35, plus electricity. The studios will be allocated to artists working in a range of practices.

The ground floor workspace is 29 SQM (312 sqft) with six desks priced at £165 pcm all inclusive. These are dedicated desks to rent, not hot-desks. The workspace features its own entrance, lockers, kitchenette, original wooden floors and sash windows. The desks will be allocated to individual creative professionals working on primarily desk-based activities (eg. graphic design, illustration, writing etc.)

VIEWING

There will be one block viewing on Saturday 5th April 2025, 11am – 3pm. Building works to some of the spaces are still ongoing, so we are unable to show the studios outside of that time.
