ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Metamorphosis is an exhibition that forms part of the second-year module (Exhibition & Promotion) in the FdA Film, Media, and Photography program at Truro-Penwith College. The module emphasises individual planning, promotion, and production, reflecting the program's practical and industry-oriented approach. The course offers a blend of media and photography modules that focus on developing higher-level skills in areas such as media, film, photography, and digital content. It equips students with academic and practical skills to specialise in their chosen field. With strong connections to local employers, students have opportunities to work with media organisations locally and internationally.

MAIN IMAGE :

Ciaran's work is inspired by Vivian Maier (1926-200). His images are merged photographs of standalone manmade structures and specific objects in their surroundings blended into new creations. Walking like a flaneur around Penzance and Newlyn he looked for structures that although in the forefront of the local environment, might go unnoticed.

WORKS PICTURED (from top):

Ciaran Sullivan Davis
Harry Sutherland (Brent Church, Dartmoor)
Meg Noon (Body on Beach)
Steph Heginbotham (London Eye)
