About Meet and Make
Meet & Make is an informal creative social group where people can relax, learn new skills and meet each other. The group is aimed at supporting mental health and wellbeing through creativity and some participants are referred through Falmouth and Penryn GP’s social prescribing teams.
In the sessions we explore a range of creative activities such as collage, drawing, painting, textiles and clay modelling, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The group encourages exploring art, playful expression and making new friendships.
A range of local artists deliver sessions to explore different materials, skills and ideas. The groups are delivered by experienced Art Centre Penryn staff and high-quality artists, with free hot drinks, biscuits and all materials provided.
No previous experience of art is needed, and all activities will be suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already take part in creative activities.

Who leads the sessions?
The sessions are informally led by Megan Beck. Megan runs Art Centre Penryn and has taught a range of art and design classes in Adult and Community Education. Other artists and makers will also visit the group to talk about their work and lead some activities.
Do I have to pay, book or bring anything?
This group is free but we ask for a small donation of £1 - £3 per session to cover some of our costs. Hot drinks, biscuits and all materials are provided.
