TENDER ACTS
GEORGIA GLENDALL and CAT BAGG

Tender Acts is a project designed to invite curious acts and to connect people who study or work on Penryn Campus. The year-long project began in March 2024, with three simple interventions:

  • ‘Instruct’ – an open invitation to submit a set of instructions for someone else to interpret and enact, and to take instructions in return with the commitment to follow through on the exchange, sharing the results.

  • ‘Collective Actions’ – artist-led activities that offer opportunities to do something intriguing, in company and without the aim of producing a fixed outcome.

  • ‘Tender Acts’ – a large edition of poster format artworks that offer short provocations such as ‘learn from a bird’, ‘prune’ or ‘walk on the grass’. These works have been installed across the campus, without explanation or interpretation.
